New York, NY, February 25, 2008: ASCAP will present a special
"Writers Roundtable" panel discussion on Thursday, March 6, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Clark-Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. The panel will feature some of today's top songwriters and is part of an ongoing series of professional development programs that focus on the music creation process. Moderated by ASCAP's Tremayne "Tre" Anchrum, the event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required.
Commenting on the panel, Anchrum said: "Since there are a vast number of producer only panels industry wide, we felt it was necessary to provide a stage where successful songwriters can educate other aspiring songwriters on how to make their mark in the business. We're pleased to bring together this panel of outstanding songwriters for what promises to be a lively and informative discussion."
