New York, NY, April 11, 2006: Connie Bradley, Senior Vice President, ASCAP announced the promotion of Dan Keen to Vice President Membership Nashville on Monday, April 3, 2006. Keen has been with ASCAP for eleven and a half years and was formerly an Assistant Vice President. Bradley surprised Keen with the announcement before a crowd of 200 Christian Music Industry leaders at ASCAP's annual Christian Music Awards Dinner. Keen has produced and co-hosted the event with Ms. Bradley for last several years.
"Dan has proven himself as a leader in our community and someone ASCAP members can count on," Bradley said after the ceremony. She added, "He covers a lot of ground for ASCAP. He works extensively in Christian, Bluegrass and Country Music and has signings in Pop, Rock and Electronic Music as well."
Keen remarked, "ASCAP members tend to be principled and wildly creative. It's inspiring to be working with these songwriters and publishers everyday." Keen also added, "I appreciate the platform Connie Bradley has given me. Our goal is to support ASCAP members to the fullest and seek every advantage for them in an ever-changing music business climate."
