Roland's new TD-4S V-Compact Series V-Drums kit ($1,199) offers the sound and feel of the company's larger V-Drum products in a package ideally sized or small studios. The basic set sports five drum pads–including a snare that features Roland's patented multi-layer mesh head for a more natural feel–plus two cymbals and a hihat, all triggering the upgraded TD-4 sound module, which offers hundreds of percussion sounds and effect.
