On Sat, August 15th, ASCAP members Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Kevin Teasley gave an outstanding performance at the Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica, CA with their R&B/jazz/funk project Miles Long. Best know for his acting role in
The Cosby Show, Warner founded Miles Long as an outlet for his passions for music and spoken word. The band has since performed to packed houses on the LA club circuit, playing in several jazz festivals, and opening for high profile acts such as Earl Klugh and Luther Vandross. ASCAP's Alisha Davis was there at the Dakota Lounge show to support the band.
