Ready to Rock

The ASCAP band Shirock has just released its debut EP Shirock /// 5. The full LP will be coming out in Fall of 2008. Recently, three songs from Shirock /// 5 were used on MTV's hit show The Hills. Shirock is managed by the Los Angeles-based group PMC, alongside such acts as Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls, All American Rejects, Plain White T's, and more. Shirock is an ambitious band in their approach to developing both their music and their brand. Along with writing and performing music, Shirock develops, designs and operates a full clothing line called IROCK clothing. In addition to this, Shirock is also a non-profit organization called Everything Burns. The organization will exist to help connect fans with pro-active local, regional, and international groups making a positive impact in their area. The band plans to put on concerts through Everything Burns to raise awareness and money for specific needs in certain areas. This summer, Shirock played at several summer festivals as a showcase for bigger things to come.
