The Dodos

It was a chance introduction by a roommate that brought the psych-folk-pop duo of Meric Long and Logan Kroeber of the San Francisco-based band the Dodos together. Soon after their meeting, the Dodos got a recording studio and began creating the music that would go toward their first album Beware of the Maniacs, and also quit their day jobs to go on tour in October of 2006. Most recently they have released the album Visitor, centered on the concept of reconnecting with the energy and intensity of their live show. The band has already toured with Les Savy Fav, Akron/Family, Jennifer Gentle, Wovenhand and Peter and the Wolf and even more tours are expected in the Dodos' future.
