Viewfinder illuminates the talent of an exciting new voice in music

Ben Christophers is a songwriter who creates dreamy music that is delicately woven together with carefully placed notes and earnest, beautiful lyrics. His work is spacious and pleasantly unrushed. In 2005 he completed a limited edition album, viewfinder, made up of songs and sessions recorded earlier that year and released it on his own label. In addition, Christophers has collaborated with an enviable list of talent. Last year he wrote with French chanteuse Francoise Hardy for her latest album, Tant de belles Choses, and also recently recorded a duet with her for her next album. He has completed guest vocals for classical electro composer Michael Brook on his upcoming album and plays on Faultline's song "collosal gray sunshine," which also features The Flaming Lips. Christophers also supported Tori Amos on her European Tour. He is currently working on his fourth studio album due for release sometime in 2007.
