The film music of Academy Award winning composer Jan A.P. Kaczmarek was performed at Royce Hall in a program entitled Journey to Light on Friday January 20, 2006. The program featured music from his films Finding Neverland, Unfaithful, The Third Miracle, and Quo Vadis. The pieces were performed by USC's Thornton Symphony and conducted by Michal Nesterowicz. Kaczmarek also received Poland's highest cultural award for his composition and contribution to the arts from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland. ASCAP and Renault were sponsors of the event organized by The Polish Film Institute and The Polish Audiovisual Publishers.
