From the ASCAP Archives: 1979

Here Stewart is pictured with ASCAP's Karen Sherry in 1979 accepting three ASCAP Awards for his hit song.

Do Ya Think I'm Successful?

Rod Stewart's latest collection of standards, Stardust...The Great American Songbook, Vol. 3 (J Records), shot to Number One on the Billboard 200 chart after it was released in October, 2004. The album has gone on to be one of Stewart's most successful recordings in a very long and prolific career. Over 25 years ago, his 1978 album, Blondes Have More Fun, sat at the top of the charts for three weeks, and boasted the Number One Hot 100 hit, "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy."
