Have You Forgotten
Dreamworks artist Darryl Worley celebrated his seven week #1 hit, "Have You Forgotten" with a party at ASCAP in Nashville (May 8). Darryl and his co-writer Wynn Varble made special presentations to members of the armed forces including the 18th, 82nd and 101st Airborne divisions. ASCAP Senior Vice President Connie Bradley presented a citation from Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld recognizing Worley's recent Pentagon performance. XM Radio personality Shannon McCombs hosts the intimate acoustic setting and explores the inspirational driving force behind the songs they create. WSM FM rebroadcasts the two-segment show.

 | (left) 12 year-old Ashley Gearing recently performed at ASCAP LIVE! From The Wildhorse--her first Nashville performance following the regional radio success of her debut single "Can You Hear Me When I Talk To You". Shortly after the show, it was announced that Gearing had signed with Lyric Street Records. Gearing is currently the youngest recording artist with a single on the Billboard chart. The ASCAP LIVE! showcase also featured performances from SixWire and Bryan White.
