FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS The most asked questions and answers about radio licensing.
Available below in Adobe Acrobat format are the ASCAP Interim Local Station Blanket and Per Program Radio License agreements for applicable for the interim license period commencing January 1, 2001. The attachments include the agreements and their exhibits. ASCAP is currently in discussions with the Radio Music License Committee (RMLC) concerning new licenses for periods beginning January 1, 2001. If your station was licensed prior to December 31, 2000, in order to remain licensed for the interim license period, you should now either join the other stations represented by the RMLC; sign a 2001 ASCAP Radio Station License Extension Agreement; or make your own application for an ASCAP license alone or with others. New stations or stations that have been sold since January 1, 2001 will be offered interim license agreements that contain essentially the same terms as the agreements for the term ending December 31, 2000. For additional information, license agreements or forms please call us at (800) 99-ASCAP.
