Jin Kyung Lee was born in Seoul, Korea. She attended Yonsei University, graduating with a degree in Composition in 2006. In January 2004, she started working professionally for Korean feature films as a composer and an orchestrator under several music directors. The Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the KBS Chamber Orchestra and the Yonsei Chamber orchestra have recorded her orchestral works. Encouraged by her peers and teachers, she decided to move to New York to pursue a major in film scoring. Today, she is studying at NYU with Michael Patterson.
