Born in Florence, Italy, Kays Alatrakchi graduated cum laude from Berklee College of Music in Boston and began producing music for Nickelodeon, Sony, Disney and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Since 2003, Alatrakchi has been working in Los Angeles, narrowing his focus on feature film soundtracks such as the horror/comedy Cutting Room (which won him an award for Best Music at the Milan International Film Festival), Believers and inHuman for Warner Bros., and the sci/fi thriller The Objective (a Tribeca Official Selection) directed by Blair Witch Project creator Dan Myrick.
