Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Tim Easton arrives at The Tribeca Film Festival fresh off finishing his fourth album, Ammunition, and a tour with Lucinda Williams. The album, produced by Easton and Mark Howard (Tom Waits,
Bob Dylan) with three tracks co-produced by Gary Louris of the Jayhawks, is his first studio album in three years. Ammunition's subtle magic is in the stories and characters as it was recorded over a two-year period in Cleveland, Minneapolis, Alaska and Joshua Tree. Guests include multi-instrumentalist Doug Pettibone, drummer Don Heffington,
Tift Merritt and Lucinda Williams. Ammunition will be released
by New West Records on May 16, 2006.
