ASCAP Presents... Quiet on the Set

Reeve Carney
www.reevecarney.com

Coming from a musical family, Reeve Carney began singing and playing the piano before he could even walk. Living in New York City at the time, Reeve managed to get into the jingle business, singing for radio and television commercials. When he was only 8 years old, Reeve sang with Peter, Paul and Mary for a holiday concert in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. Reeve became a professional actor in 1993 after a small role in the film, The Saint of Fort Washington. By the time he was 12 years old, Reeve knew in his heart it was music he could never live without and focused on his songwriting and various instruments. Reeve also continued to better his career in film and television. In 1997, Reeve auditioned for the role of Ishmael Chambers in the film, Snow Falling on Cedars. Shortly after, Reeve was nominated in the 2000 Young Artists Awards and won "Best Performance in a Feature Film."

Now living in Southern California, he has performed at numerous venues all over the world headlining, opening for and performing with other musicians to promote his Looking Glass EP. Over the past year, he has been traveling the world as part of the Jonny Lang band. In March 2006, he signed with Interscope Records, another step in his journey towards bigger success.
