He released three critically acclaimed albums for MA Recordings, and soundtrack albums on Decca, Milan and Varese Sarabande.

Zarvos has been awarded grants by the National Endowment for Arts, Meet the Composer, and New York State Council for the Arts. Other works include dance scores for Pilobolus and chamber music for Ethel and Quintet of the Americas.
