ASCAP's Music Café Kicks Off with Stellar Performances by Bruce Hornsby, Rufus Wainwright, Imogen Heap, Chris Janson, Mike Doughty and Others

The 2006 Sundance Film Festival kicked off on January 19th and ASCAP's Music Café, located at the Star Bar on Main Street in Park City, Utah immediately drew a packed house. The first day of ASCAP's week-long series of ASCAP member performances featured mesmerizing sets by Robert Post, The Weepies, Imogen Heap and Rufus Wainwright. The early buzz on the café spread and for the next two days, lines of festival-goers snaked down the street to get in to see some of today's top singer-songwriters in an intimate venue. Performers also included Margot & the Nuclear So & So's, Augustana, Chris Janson, Inara George, Mike Doughty, Bruce Hornsby and Lyfe.
