If I'm going to the EXPO in Los Angeles in April, why should I attend New York Sessions?
Although inspired by the EXPO, New York Sessions is a separate and unique one-day event designed to give songwriters, composers and producers in the Northeast the opportunity to boost their career by giving them the latest information and tools they need to succeed. It is also conveniently programmed to follow ASCAP's General Annual Membership Meeting, so that ASCAP members can maximize their time.
If I am going to ASCAP New York Sessions, why should I consider going to the ASCAP "I Create Music" EXPO too?
ASCAP New York Sessions is a valuable one-day event with an emphasis on Northeast area music creators. ASCAP's "I Create Music" EXPO is the premiere conference for songwriters and composers in the country, drawing participants from all over the world, and featuring three days of panels, master sessions, one-on-one meetings, performances, legendary keynote speakers and an incredible array of exhibitors. If you like what you experience at New York Sessions, then you will be able to build on what you learned there and experience a lot more by attending the EXPO.
If I'm going to the ASCAP membership meeting, why should I stay and attend New York Sessions?
At ASCAP's membership meeting, you will hear reports covering the state of the industry, legislation, ASCAP operations and member accomplishments. New York Sessions will provide you with real knowledge about the tools, services, advice and guidance that you can take away with you at the end of the day to help further your career.

GENERAL
Do I have to be an ASCAP member to attend?
No, the event is open to anyone that pays the registration fee.
Will the registration fee give me access to all events and workshops or are there additional admission costs?
Registration fees are a one-time fee, and will grant you access to all of this one-day event.
When does the ASCAP New York Sessions start? When does it end?

I purchased a registration. Where do I check-in? When and where do I pick-up my registration and registration badge?
The check-in/registration area will be located in the main lobby of the 92nd Street Y. At the check-in/registration area ASCAP will confirm your registration and issue you a wristband which will be needed to gain access to the events of the day. Check-in and wristbands will be available beginning at 8:30am and will continue throughout the day.
Is it possible to register on site?
Yes, you can register onsite. It will be $75 for ASCAP Members and $95 for Non-Members.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
What is the cancellation/refund policy? How do I cancel?
All registration purchases are final. There are no refunds.
