Lead Acoustical Engineer - Auralex Acoustics

Gavin Haverstick is the Lead Acoustical Engineer at Auralex Acoustics (www.auralex.com). Auralex Acoustics is a manufacturer of acoustical treatment products ranging from sound quality control devices (absorption, diffusion, bass trapping) to sound transmission control products (construction products). Gavin has worked for Auralex for 8 years and has been involved in the acoustical analysis of over 3,000 challenging spaces including gymnasiums, houses of worship, recording studios, cafeterias, conference rooms, home theaters and industrial facilities. His degree is in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University with a focus in robotics.

As Lead Acoustical Engineer, Haverstick oversees the research, development and testing for current and future products. His main focuses involve new product design, working in conjunction with acoustical consultants, as well as continuing to supervise large-scale projects. He is also responsible for writing technical white papers and giving presentations on Auralex's products and acoustical theory.
