Sam Hollander (S*A*M)

Producer, Songwriter - "Cupid's Chokehold," "Bring It (Snakes on a Plane)," "The Great Escape"

Named to Rolling Stone's 2008 Hot List as Producer of the Year (alongside partner Dave Katz), songwriter/producer Sam Hollander has become a go-to guy in the pop world, having lent his hand in such hits as Metro Station's double-platinum-selling "Shake It," Boys Like Girls' platinum-certified "The Great Escape," and Gym Class Heroes' platinum-certified "Cupid's Chokehold," among others. A New York native, Hollander originally began his career remixing hits for artists such as DMX, Method Man, and Master P while working in the production team Pop Rox, during which time he also wrote hits for Carole King and The Baha Men. Hollander then joined forces with Katz (dubbing themselves S*A*M & Sluggo) and together co-wrote and produced "Bring It," the tongue-in-cheek smash for the Snakes On A Plane soundtrack. Additionally, Hollander has worked with Katy Perry, O.A.R., David Cook, We The Kings, Coheed and Cambria, All Time Low, and The Academy Is, among many others. Hollander currently lives in Manhattan with his wife Jen and daughter Joey.
