ASCAP Bands Rock the 2008 CMJ Marathon



All over New York this October 21-25 th, ASCAP members were rocking the 2008 CMJ New Music Marathon. In celebration of the incredibly talented ASCAP members who trekked to New York from all over the country - and in some cases even farther - ASCAP hosted our annual CMJ Showcase at the Canal Room on Wednesday, October 22 nd. The lineup featured Kate Tucker and the Sons of Sweden, Other Lives, Sarah Solovey, 2AM Club, The Howlies, and As Tall As Lions.

ASCAP's New York offices hosted newcomers Audrye Sessions and Trevor Menear, who came in to record some of their new songs live in-studio. Those tracks along with video of the showcase will be available soon via ASCAP's Playback Podcast and the ASCAP Network.
