Dario Marianelli, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova Take Home Music Oscars

ASCAP congratulates composer Dario Marianelli and songwriters Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova for their Academy Award victories. All three are members of ASCAP's international family of music creators. In a ceremony held Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Marianelli clinched the Oscar for his score to Atonement, while Hansard and Irglova won for "Falling Slowly" from Once.
