It's beginning to look a lot like Awards Season, everywhere you go...

In the same week that the Golden Globe nominations were announced, the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) also revealed their nominees for the 17th annual Critics Choice Movie Awards. This year's Golden Globe-nominated ASCAP members Trent Reznor, Howard Shore, Mary J. Blige, Harvey Mason, Jr. and Bernie Taupin were also singled out by the BFCA for their film music this year; ASCAP songwriter Jeannie Lurie and APRA/ASCAP writer Bret McKenzie (one half of Flight of the Conchords) were nominated for their work on The Muppets, the subject of ASCAP's recent panel at the Billboard/Hollywood Reporter Film & TV Music Conference.

Congratulations to all of our nominees!
